The Lasco WiFi Mechanical Wall Switch 3 Gang Black Matte is a smart, fire-retardant wall switch designed specifically for modern homes, offering both style and functionality with a matte and glossy black finish. This mechanical tactile switch supports Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz without requiring a hub, works with or without a neutral line (capacitor included), and allows for scene linkage, group control, on/off scheduling, and voice assistant compatibility. Built for safety and durability, it features relay-based switching, status light indicators, and supports up to 600W incandescent or 150W LED loads for stable performance across a wide voltage range.

  • Will work with or without a “neutral line.”
  • If you don’t have a neutral line, you need to use and install the capacitor (included) between the two wires going in the bulb, the bulb should be connected to Line 1 of the switch.
  • Note: all your wiring should be in parallel wiring, Series wiring will not work.

> Green: When Switch is OFF

> Red: When Switch is ON

GUIDELINES:

With Neutral Line and No Capacitor

Step 1: Label your wires, mark or record the corresponding line before removing the old switch.

Step 2: Install Switch, use wire-nuts to connect the switch wires to your home wires, following the diagram. Be careful on matching line and load wires. After that, remove the stickers, screw the switch into the wall, and attach the faceplate.

 

Without Neutral Line and with Capacitor

Step 1: Label your wires, mark or record the corresponding line before removing the old switch.

Step 2: Install Switch, use wire-nuts to connect the switch wires to your home wires, following the diagram. Be careful on matching line and load wires. After that, remove the stickers, screw the switch into the wall, and attach the faceplate.
